As part of our interviews on participatory democracy, we met Serge Ecker from the creative association DKollektiv. The members of the DKollektiv are renovating the former locker and waggon hall building (VEWA), which will be permanently integrated into the future residential area “Neischmelz”. This participatory renovation process, the “DKollage” is an opportunity, says Serge, to do something together, to learn together, to experiment together and, of course, to eat and drink together.
